Signs of SpringOn the evening of 20th May 2010 Kate Dewey of Friends of Riverway led a group of us along the Rive Sow in Stafford, looking for signs of Spring. This slide show gives a picture of what was going on along Stafford’s river bank on that specific day. As well as the wild flowers and trees we were shown Otter spraint (signs that Otters are living in town), the new buildings nearby (the County Council building is well on its way) and we finished at the Riverway field where the Poetry Stone, placed as the result of a library poetry competition in 2008, is merging with its natural setting.
